Polycurve designer

The shape designer has been replaced by the polycurve designer, which is now based on the look-and-feel of the tunnel designer. The polycurve designer includes new functionality for creating circular and square polycurves.

Python environment updates

• Separation of the deliverable Python environment: one that can be used for user created Python scripts and the editor, and one trimmed down environment intended for all PLAXIS extensions written in Python, e.g. the 2D to 3D converter and the structural Coupling tool.
• Users may also choose their own Python installation over the delivered Python environment to further customize their automated workflows.

Improved mesh performance

Meshing performance improvements for complex 3D models with a large number of surfaces.

Calculation Manager

Calculation Manager tool has been added, which can automate opening, starting, calculating, and saving of results for multiple projects.

ProjectWise integration

ProjectWise integration is now elevated into a full feature, from being a Technology Preview before. Various issues have been addressed, and it is now possible to leave a project checked out when closing the PLAXIS program.

Command line autocomplete

Command line autocomplete is now elevated into a full feature, from being a Technology Preview before. Various issues have been addressed, the performance has been improved, and command line autocomplete is now enabled by default.
